REVIEW: Cosmo Authentic World Kitchen - All You Can Eat Buffet | Omni Centre, Edinburgh

"The buffet game is a dangerous one!"

It’s been a long time since I’ve been here and I’m pretty sure not a lot has changed.

We arrived 10 minutes before it opened for dinner at 5pm, and joined the already long queue that was snaking outside the Omni Centre. After a 20 minute wait, we were seated at our table and then told to help ourselves.

Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Availability: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cosmo was a little too busy for my liking. Queues formed in small areas which resulted in many empty dishes. They did get refilled but it obviously took time. I live by the saying, “If yer no fast, yer last!” It definitely applied here.

Don’t get me wrong, the food they did have on offer was delicious. The only thing, for me personally, is that I’d like to see them add Mexican cuisine.

Couldn’t fault the service. With a room full of diners, the staff were on the ball with clearing plates, getting drinks, filling gaps etc.

Cosmo have a few offers on at the minute. You can find some of them on their website, but you can also sign up online for their January offers (2 dine for £30, kids eat for £5, and a family deal).

Just gonna chuck my 2p worth here….go whilst you’re starving. The buffet game is a dangerous one 😂🙈
